  • Chad Flores founded Flores Law after specializing in appeals for over a decade at Beck Redden LLP, where he was a partner in the appellate section. He has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2012. Before entering private practice, Chad clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Supreme Court of Texas.

    In federal litigation, Chad has served as lead counsel before the Supreme Court of the United States at both the merits and petition stages, as well as in federal circuit and district courts across the country. In Texas, he appears regularly before the Supreme Court of Texas and supports trial counsel in lower courts statewide.

    For over a decade, Chad has been named a Super Lawyer and/or Rising Star in Appellate Law by Thompson Reuters. He was recently recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the field of appellate litigation and was honored by Benchmark Litigation for commercial and white-collar litigation accomplishments.

    Chad teaches appellate advocacy at the University of Houston Law Center’s Blakely Advocacy Institute and is a guest lecturer at the University of Texas School of Law. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and American University’s Washington College of Law.
